I'm trying to recover all my data from my 1 TB partition. I boot from a USB flash drive and go to /media/ubuntu/1T with a command line recovery When I run fsck -y -f /dev/sda1 it ends with: fsck from util-linux 2.17.2 e2fsck 1.42.9 (29-Aug-2012) Pass 1: Checking inodes, blocks, and sizes Pass 2: Checking directory structure Pass 3: Checking directory connectivity Pass 4: Checking reference counts Pass 5: Checking group summary information Then it says " Cannot find a valid filesystem superblock." I followed some directions and changed the root directory to the SD card and now it says " Cannot find a valid superblock." I'm using a Micro-SD card formated in Fat32 and I think I created the partition with gparted but I'm not sure what to do. I don't have any hdd in my computer (It was reformatted with another computer) so I can't test it or format it. I used gparted because I couldn't resize the partition with the partitions screen and I don't know how to fix it. It's my first time working with Linux so I'm not sure how to proceed.
